Century North is the recently-established regional arm of Century Films.

Initially the Northern office developed documentaries and drama proposals but is now charting new territory, with a plan to develop more features-based formats as well as drama. Relationships with new media companies in the region are also being nurtured so that future output has multi-platform and interactive potential. The company is committed to reflecting life in the North of England and to nurturing local talent as much as possible.

Century North's development plan is being overseen by Ruth Pitt.
