Make Me Honest (2004)

Five criminals. Five law-abiding citizens. Six months to go straight.

Five ordinary members of the public volunteered to help criminals go straight by acting as their mentors.

A Chelsea interior designer is paired with a mugger, a stay-at-home dad with an armed robber and criminal lawyer with a smackhead.

Throughout the mentoring the five volunteers had to use their experience, wit, common sense and sheer determination to guide and counsel a repeat offender as they faced life outside prison.

Make Me Honest is an event series tackling the problem of youth crime head on. Compelling, emotional, and offering no easy solutions, the series asks the simple question: can one committed individual change or make a difference in one young offender’s life?
