Filmed in the North-East and Essex, the series shows how old and young and rich and poor Britain likes to have a drink when they go out– and if things get out of control it’s the door staff who are left to put things right.
But as well as some of the uncomfortable elements of our drinking culture, the series also features warm, insightful and funny stories that explore what’s behind people’s night-time behavior.
The door staff see it all; they are sober and wry observers, commentating and interpreting our weekend antics. Through them, we take a fresh look at why Brits love drinking and why some of us behave badly on a night out.
