The horrific murders of at least five children in the sixties shocked the nation and forever soured the streets as a safe place for children to play. One child’s body, that of ten year old Keith Bennett, still remains missing, buried somewhere on Saddleworth Moor, but Brady refuses to identify the location of the loneliest of graves. Forty-seven years on from the murders, the film shows terminally ill Winnie launching her last battalion of appeals for Brady to reveal the location of her son.
Sadly, since this broadcast of this film Winnie Johnson passed away. She never did discover the location of her son’s grave.
